There are things you simply cannot hide. The sun. The moon. The truth. And, well — a giant rock hurtling toward the planet at terminal velocity.
Meteorite of Truth is a claymation-style short made entirely with AI, built on one absurd and deeply human premise: a meteorite is heading for Earth, and instead of running, screaming, or building bunkers, people just… start telling the truth. The closer the rock gets, the less anyone bothers lying. As if the weight of the thing falling from the sky somehow makes every small, everyday deception feel suddenly ridiculous. Confessions spill out. Masks drop. The world gets unbearably honest right before it gets obliterated.
This is the second piece in a series I'm building around apocalyptic events that carry a message — stories where the end of the world isn't really the point, but what it shakes loose in people is. The first, The Earth Will Burn, explored a different flavor of the same idea. Same claymation obsession. Same taste for the surreal. Same belief that the best way to say something true is to wrap it in something completely absurd.
Because sometimes it takes a meteorite to get people to say what they actually mean.
